Southampton are far from a top 6 side, probably not even top half. New manager seems good, certainly they have had a bounce from him, but that will end some time, sooner than later. This game is there for the taking. Win 3-1 for us

I watched part of their game last night, I didn't see anything that should cause us too much concern. That is not to say they won't cause us concern. On any given day our first eleven should beat the team which they will put out but our players need to play.
I think we will win 0-2.

I'm usually pessimistic for all the reasons described above, but I feel somewhat optimistic about this. I think this squad generally has played better away from Goodison this season, and Southampton play a more open attacking style under the new manager, which is usually a good recipe for us.

Just get a new manager to sit in the stand without picking the team or setting them up tactically. It’s worked before.

I think its a game we typically lose. Not expecting much really.

You can tell much from the first 10 minutes and if its the same lethargy on display against Brighton, we won't be getting anything.

A draw would be acceptable but boring.
