Agreed. Another reason why it would be foolish to criticise Coleman. The point remains however that Alcaraz was signed to be our 3rd choice CB but in fact he's not even as good as Stones, has been unavailable for long periods due to "muscle fatigue" despite not playing much, and has done little of merit when he has played. That's not good value for his wage IMHO.

I think he's looked fine when he's played and he's only used when everyone else is unavalible, Would you find a good young CB willing to sit on the bench for weeks on end knowing they will not get a game unless others are out

Well when he played in the derby he was dog turd and today he was dog turd thats all I would like to see of him not good enough for me.

The odd bad game in twenty-plus is ok. Being poor in 50% of your appearances is not.

Meaning what then? He's great when he doesn't play? FFS, by that logic you, me and Abraders should be in the squad. His point was that Coleman scored an OG today too, therefore suggesting that calling Alcaraz out for doing so would require the same criticism of Coleman - hence my pointing out that such a comparison would be flawed and false because, as you so adroitly pointed out, Coleman's played 30 games - because he's a BETTER PLAYER.

I definitely think I should be in the squad btw.
