First time Iv heard Michael Owen talking sence. Commentator keeps going on bout how good Southampton have been, and Owen keeps shooting him down saying its been more us being poor, gave Clyne motm too instead of giving it to one of the 'favoured' players like lallana, shaw or lambert

I know we have plenty of injuries but it's not an excuse for the players out there, they've been really bad today and had very little fight in them. Any loss at this stage meant 4th would be gone and yet they've sluggishly got their way through the game without looking too bothered. Southampton haven't had to do much but they've still passed the ball better than us and looked pretty solid defensively.

Alcaraz got over the OG and has been pretty steady, at least trying to get the ball forward, but for the whole team its been a day of passes just being not quite accurate enough.
