I'd like to see Kone and Lukaku both start. As always I am going to be hopelessly optimistic that Everton can win, and that finally the team will "click" and we'll go on and win the league.

Is that too much to hope for?

Probably
In that we'd have no other forward to bring on in case of mishap.

I'm in the middle of a 14 day one lol.
Needless to say I somewhat miss the transfer induced hysteria and the mental breakdowns that heretofore I would have made quips about.
This matchthread will no doubt provide me with some of the same should we go a goal down at any stage.
I have always considered you a Blues' Brother...your ban confirms it : maximum kudos

I'm hoping I'm not given cause to go to bed at half-time. Or made to fall asleep ... 11:45pm kick off here.
I'm about to head off to watch our mighty All Blacks at Eden Park...my insanity will hopefully therein be contained (some hope!!...Ponsonby beckons!!!). My predictions for tonight : NZ will win... Everton?...oops

You should be nervous... I just got banned from board thread until Sept 5th, not even the courtesy of a little tiny weeny warning. Anyways on topic, fancy us to win this 2-1. As long as we don't fall behind in first few minutes it will be progress on previous visits.

RM asks for faith and trust him on the signings to come. Unless his tactics change I cannot see us turning that corner. The game today against the Saints will be a severe test. Saints have come on pretty well under Koeman. It will be very interesting to see what the lineup will be. Guess it will not revealed until an hour before KO.
