Sure about that mate? I can see it.
Yeah this, Bertrand is out and their new signing is also out. Defence is there for the taking, go 433 with Mirallas and Deulofeu either side of Lukaku and score 3. Obviously we would then concede 4.

Seriously, we play good, we win.

I think @GrandOldTeam is probably still out with @the esk looking for saggers from talk sport to give him some friendly 'advice'.

Have a feeling we will win 2-1, scrappy performance, goal from Kone for him to then be dropped against city and have Romelu standing around hoping Riola can get him a deadline day move to united or something.

Typical Everton attitude i know, positive followed by a negative !
Bearing in mind Southampton have lost Clyne, Shneiderlein and Forster to injury.

Clasie and Caulker are out too I know Caulker isn't started normally though. I reckon we'll do our favourite of gifting a misfiring/returning striker by helping them break their duck against us, i.e. a Jay Rodriguez goal, with sublime build-up to it cruelly similar to the style Everton are supposedly aspiring to.

The real question is gents, do i take Pelle out of my dream team?

You know he'll notch, but can't have him notching against us and bagging points for me.

Really can't see anything but a complete pasting to be honest. They seem the more confident side, pace in key areas - while we're the total opposite.

I expect us to win, I think we're a better side than Southampton with better players and I think we're fully focused on the league this year and I'm expecting a good season.

We did ok at times last week and were the better side against a Watford who also played well on the day but results like that happen on the opening week, it happened at a lot of places.

With a bit of fine tuning on that performance, I think we should edge a tight game tomorrow.

Such optimism on here
I think we'll do alright, we have the quality in the team to beat them.
