Grim. We've created the same amount of chances so far as Newcastle, Burnley and Cardiff. Not good company to be mixing with.

It's far too early to be getting much from stats like that. Any sort of average needs a larger size than 3 to really mean much. For example Tottenham have been a top 3 defense for 3 years in a row and now they're 3rd worst? Not likely.

..well we’re getting to the 10 game point where the season is meant to have settled down and you have a true indication of where your team will finish. For me, though, the Christmas points mark is a much more important benchmark;

Below 20 points and you’re in a bottom half struggle.

20-25 points and you should be fine.

25+ and Europe beckons.

30+ nosebleed.

Compare the stats that are coming out now for Everton with the stats in the first couple of pages on this thread and it shows the massive improvement so far from the end of last year, long may it continue and get better
