yeah i reckon so as well. Especially if you sign up for Evertonia membership (£20 i think?) you get priority over everyone else.

Not sure if Groucho is local or not though so that could be a problem.

If you can't and want a certain game like Utd, join Evertonia (think its about £15) members get offered tickets before they go on general sale. There was plenty available for the derby this way the other week I was told.

It's called Foreverton now, costs £20 but you get two vouchers for £5 off catagory D games, let's you buy tickets at the same time as season ticket holders with 0 aways.

Thanks for the help here, everyone. I'm kind of leaning towards Young Boys because ticket availability will be a near certainty and I like the thought of an evening game. Man United though....

E-mail the PR dept at the club. Tell them you've booked flights for the weekend of the United game, it's your 30th etc, and ask if there's any way they can help you secure a couple of tickets should they make it to general sale. (which they will) Lay it on with a trowel and I reckon they might do something for you.

I might give that a shot, and that Evertonia thing sounds promising too. The only thing I have an issue with now is how long it is away, but it will be worth the wait I imagine.
