Man utd were really stuck after they won all those games AND got passed PSG in the CL. But for all those decent results like against Arsenal in the cup not long after he was installed, the game against Arsenal in the league at the point they really needed it and then losing in the quarter final to Wolves are far more telling I believe.

They were like a starving man that were thrown a cracker and it was the best damn cracker they ever had. Problem is a year of having the same every day and they will soon realise that they've been sold just regular crackers.

OGS has the toughest gig in the league. He has to hope the players keep buying in to him.

He might be a good manager. But w/ Poch you get him off Spuds, maybe even snatch Kane off them (or he goes off to RM) and w/ spurs apparent debt problems you pretty much eliminated them as top 4 competetion for a good few years.

It baffles me why they didn`t just give him a one year rolling contract.

He`d have been happy with it, the fans would`ve been happy with it and it`d be much less expensive if / when it came to giving him the chop.

It`s all sweetness and light at the moment, but he hasn`t hit a rocky patch yet and that`ll be the test for him / the club.

His first challenge will be the bellend Pogba, who`s already flashing his knickers at Real Madrid.

I also suspect that Ferguson is pulling the strings in the background and that`s giving him a lot of gratis at the mo.

If they get their money back for Pogba and flog Sanchez and get those wages off the books then they are in business.

Can see this going tits up for united again.

So easy for ole to come in and lift the mood, not the most difficult thing to get a load of boss attacking players actually attacking again.

The long term view is can he organise a team? Prep them for a 9 month season which includes a title challenge and multiple cup competitions ?

After all when he arrived he had no expectation at all on his shoulders

There’s talk of a deal involving Bale, but Sanchez is supposed to be on 2 mil a month !!!!!

No ones taking him on wages like that.
Aaron Ramsey and juventus may disagree with that though mate.

If he can get silly money then Sanchez is a bargain on his wages

I would be surprised if there weren't a few United favourable break clauses in that contract. At the end of the day OGS wasn't going to turn the opportunity down whatever.

Evict Virgil. Come on Ole, upset the greatest centre back who ever drew breath at this crucial time.
