On a free? I would try and sign him on a one year deal definitely, given our problems with cover at Centre Back with Jags and possibly Lescott.

Thought he was waining a bit for the first half of last season, but pulled it out of the bag in the second. Hes on ridiculous wages but if he was prepared to take a pay cut to come, i definitely would.

What do people think?

Lost a step or two and definetly a good shout out. But I am hoping Davey keeps to his youth movement myself. We'll see. Garbut a left back will be the future.

I think that Sol is a good player but a 1 year contract??? We need players that are going to progress the club and are not just a fix gap. Would rather use Rodwell at CB to be honest and blood our younger talent than pay someone who just wants one last pay check.

I think I would rather see David Moyes and Richard Gough play before Sol Campbell. People want us to move on to the next level and progress, and Sol Campbell certainly is not going to help us do that. (bangs head against the wall)!!!

As much as I'd have Distin over him....taking him on a free is really tempting in my opinion. He's slow, yeah, but he is at the most LAST RESORT COVER!! If all hell breaks loose, Yobo goes AWOL, Jags never gets fit, and lescott goes to City, we've got Soloman gay. I mean Campbell.

Sitting on the bench is the best option he is going to get to still be in the top level, or it's the Championship for him.
