More mercenaries are due to join Mercenary City. Like Chelski, they only got them to work together when they got rid of their existing manager. Same when Real Madrid went for Gallactico Mk I.

Given some of the fans comments re: Lescott potentially going to City, for me they've taken over as the most deluded fans in the prem.

Eto'o has always been outspoken and it's true Guardiola saw him as one of the rotten apples (Ronaldinho and Deco) that was creating problems in the dressing room. I get the impression that he shut up and worked hard in the close season and Guardiola was convinced by his attitude.
