More mercenaries are due to join Mercenary City. Like Chelski, they only got them to work together when they got rid of their existing manager. Same when Real Madrid went for Gallactico Mk I.

Given some of the fans comments re: Lescott potentially going to City, for me they've taken over as the most deluded fans in the prem.

I think after Shiniwatra they're pretty feet on the ground, tbh BT.

I wished it was us.

Barca coach wanted rid of him last season but Eto begged him so he could stay. Barca will make a killing, buy someone better, and nothing will change.

Eto is a absolute whinge bag. Hughes will have it from all sides (Elano, Robinho, Eto) when Burnley get a 1-0 win at home.

The thing is, Hughes is going to get time.

If he wasn't, he'd be gone by now.

I think it shows how good Eto'o is, manager doubted him, wanted to sell him, and he replies with 36 goals. Not a bad way to say "**** you" to your manager.

I think our Anichebe would score as many goals with Henry, Messi, Iniesta, Xavi all teaing you up every week to be fair.

Good point. I'm not convinced with Eto'o.

Will he adapt to the physical game here? Hope not

Eto'o has always been outspoken and it's true Guardiola saw him as one of the rotten apples (Ronaldinho and Deco) that was creating problems in the dressing room. I get the impression that he shut up and worked hard in the close season and Guardiola was convinced by his attitude. But the more goals he scores the more he mouths off as it must go to his head.

FFS £250k/Week????

A big part of me hope he signs this deal and that Shinawatras funds freezes somehow so ManC goes bellyup like Leeds. This is ridiculous amount of money.
