Its always the same. We all get excited(well I do) and we get snow but it doesnt stick!

And on the odd occasion it does it is about 1 inch thick

Its snowing here on Merseyside as I write, just a scattering but forecast yo be prolonged. In other part the weather is substabtially worse, 12 inches or more down south where it can remain.

Well, I will, after 3 long years in the sun, be moving back to somewhere where it snows!!!! Connecticut, on the east coast, where temps get down to 0F on warm days!! Can't wait, because I absolutley love the snow!!!

Trouble here is that the modern media turn it into a big event, years ago we used to have heavy snow on a regular basis throughout January and February, far worse than now. For some strange reason the country can't operate these days when it snows, or so we are led to believe. In the UK the slightest thing that goes wrong is analysed and mulled over by a ream of media [Poor language removed] half of whom don't know their arse from their elbow . Snow is great when you are young, enjoyable when in middle age and a pain when you are older, I still enjoy it as does my dog.
