Was impressed with him to be honest but think he still has much to learn. Showed some of the other boys what wearing the royal blue really means though.

Was flying into challenges and sometimes a better player will make him pay by either leaving a leg there and getting a FK or by doing him and leaving him on his arse.

He was impressive that said, covered Hibbo a few times and looked good going forward. If he can turn into a good little player, we will have two solid fullbacks.

He also looks like Baines! Have to wait and see though but the future looks bright.

He was confident and capable of pushing the ball past his opposite and running beyond them, something the spurs players sh!te themselves over because it was such a rarity. Also put a few really tasty challenges in, good performance in a good result.

Moyes may have no choice in the matter due to the injury bug. Even though this may be forcing his hand this could be good for the team in the long run.

Now we need to light a fire under Bily then I will be happy. He seem to possess the ability but doesn't seem to want to use it.

And aren't we glad Moyes had no choice but to used him, otherwise he wouldn't know what he is missing, is not as though Moyes don't know his potential but Moyes tends to go with experience when he pick his line-up.

The lads only had a year left on his contract, I think? Now we should consider tied him down to a longer term contract.

Well, Billy just been here for a few months and he was also suspended for 3 matches, not to forget Russia is out of the World cup and we are not exactly doing well in the league.

Once we start getting the result I am sure he would be a more determine player, for now as long as he provide some crosses, some good passes down the middle and score a goal every so often, I am more than satisified with Billy in the mean time.

That was one of the best home debuts I have ever seen, the kid showed far more composure on the ball than most senior players in todays side, fast, he is like [Poor language removed] off a shovel in fact I'm going to have his name put on my shirt........................................get in there COLEMAN laddie buck!!!!!(y)(y)(y)(y)(y)(y)

From what I've seen so far out of Billy he needs to be up alongside Cahill. He's purely an offensive threat that needs to be set loose in a free role up front and allowed to drift wide without the defensive responsibility restrictions tying him down on the wing, IMHO. Problem is we're not organised in that way and Moyes isn't keen on giving players free reign. He's done well since he's been here, I'd just like to see Moyes let him loose just once...see what happens. We don't have that luxury though.

Billy.................the player and his crossing ability

When he first landed at the club I thought wow we have another Kevin Sheedy, his crossing was that good but what do we have now, his crossing of a dead ball is crap truly awful at times. Is this due to some training method, is he trying to swerve it too much or what.....................the sooner he goes back to basics the better. Is it strange but he is going the same way Mikel went, his crossing of a dead ball went down hill badly after coaching!(n)
