Sir Landon Of Donovan

I think when you take into account the fact that he's probably only got a 4 year contract left in him you'd be talking £6-8m.. $10m might be enough to do it, here's hoping City don't outbid us for the sake of it. I have a feeling that this ones gonna happen. How would people feel if Moyes made a move and then told Pienaar he was free to go look for a new club in order to finance it? I know Peanuts is probably a better player but no point having someone who won't commit messing everybody about..

Donovan isn't a Pienaar replacement though.

I'd only be pleased with that, If Gueye is good enough to take up the LM mantle.

I heard a figure of 12 million US today (7 million pounds). I would guess that 10 million pounds would absolutely get it done.

When you think of the new fans we have got just on this site alone from the loan deal, it makes great sense for us to make the deal permanent. He alone raised our profile. Now you can argue Howard has too, but he's nowhere near as high profile as Donovan is.

I think having the both of them is even better though. We're like the American embassy for football.

(Totally guessing my currency exchange rates there, havent been there since 2007 and the worlds gone to [Poor language removed] since then so havent a clue)

In the game the other night against manure, we got mentioned at least 6 times. There is a big market there, he can help us tap into it. So if we have to pay 7 million, i see no reason why we cant make it back from his raising our profile.

STOP IT!!

I'm getting all optimistic now.
