Sir Landon Of Donovan

Donovan and the rest of the US team just won the ESPY for best moment in sports this year. They beat out the Saints winning the superbowl, Mickelson winning the masters, and that one Canadian womens skater that won a gold medal a day after her mom passed away.

well earned, i think.
i watched all of those live, and only fell out of my seat (literally) for donovan

Seattle Times article says MLS wont accept transfer offers for LD. Doesn't sound good. There's also a quote from Phil Neville in the article.

Forum policies wont let me post links yet:( so just google Seattle Times to find the article.

How MLS got him after his confed cup performance for 2.05M WITHOUT an escape clause is beyond me. That agent should have been fired yesterday.

There is 0 percent chance he's leaving during the MLS season. MLS also plays hardball and so I won't be suprised if they never sell him. I think the best chance to see him is via another loan deal.

Just buttering up his price tag I think.. Don Garber is all buisness, he dont care if Donovan stays or goes, just wants to get max price if he does go.

maybe. but the mls is all about stars. giving him away right after he establishes himself as an american hero would be weird. another loan, sure. then maybe we can buy him after that. but not before. unfortunately, i believe garber :/
