You trolled everyone in this thread for several pages before I posted and I'm ten? You gave your ridiculous opinion about him and got mad when people showed stats that proved you wrong.

I gave my ridiculous opinion and gave stats that say I might have an argument.

my opinion is ridiculous to you..... not to me. I have not trolled anybody anywhere I have simply stated what I think,,,,, if any opinion is ridiculous it is yours on suggesting landon is a better player than Rooney........ quote all the stats you want,, at the end of the day stats dont put boots on and go out on the field.
 
IMO, people under-estimate Donovan's abilities because he's not fancy/elaborate on the ball.

On top of his pace, the guy has a very tidy first touch, exceptional field vision, is good in possession, works his socks off tracking back, rises to the occasion in the big, big moments and can finish.

Labeling him as a "pace only" player like a Shawn Wright Phillips type sells him short.

And he's not really demonstrated his goal scoring ability at Everton yet. In fact, he's blown some great chances actually which really isn't like him.
 

angleseyblue, what are you arguing exactly, that Landon isn't Messi? That Everton fans celebrate him too much here? Should we simply stop applauding any goal that he played any part of because he's not Pele?

Your wisdom is pointing out that he's not world-class, is that it? So what other types of arguments do you make, that Baines isn't all that because Barca haven't brought him in? That Fellaini is overrated? That Howard is a Manchester United reject? Moyes sucks because he's not coaching the Spanish national team? It's just ridiculous!

I could understand some people are just killjoys, but did Landon kick your dog or steal your girl, stomp your veggie garden? Come clean angleseyblue, he must have done something...

ha ha, i think people are deffo reading too much into this,,, all I said was that I basically didnt understand all the hype surrounding him as to me..... me... just me... nobody else......he is just an above average premiership player,,,, thats all I said,,,, others came back at me and threw all kinds of stats and records and anything else they could think of..... I never said he was a bad player but i did say that he is not a top top player as somebody stated..... i think some people have taken my original comment greatly out of context and it has blown all this **** up......... frankly im not bothered either way as he is leaving in a couple of weeks wether we like it or not.

Whatever type player Landon is, he helps the club when he's in there. If one fails to see how he helps the club, well, more power to ya, whatever game that it is you're watching instead...
