Trick question really..... if Drenthe had half the attitude Landon has I would take Drenthe every time..... on the other hand if Landon was as good a player as Royston I would take Landon purely as he has a better atitude.

Forgive me for not joining the jiz fest and pinning all my hopes on a player who many believe is our best but would not get a look in at any of the top 6 sides in the league...

Very good point...home. And even though MLS is Championship level, he will always be remembered as the best American of all time...period. Doesn't really need to go anywhere to improve his legacy over here.

I tried to make a similar point to Anglesey when everyone was raving about Donovan a few months ago...

He had an unbelievable spell with us first time around but hes NOT the be all and end all....he was playing in a better side two years ago and he was two years younger

He's done ok since we brought him back but he hasnt exactly set the world alight and despite the two assists on Friday I thought he had quite a poor game contrary to the idea that some people are portraying that he won that game almost single-handedly

However, I DO rate the lad highly enough to agree he's doing enough to justify a starting place in our side at the minute but thats not really saying much
