bloody hell when was the last time we had two pacey wingers on both flanks? Rolls-Royce Drenthe and Laddy Cakes blazing in the wings.

I thought that. It was probably Limpar and Kanchelskis who never got played together either although Kanchelskis' second at anfield will always link them in my memory.
It always amuses me thinking of a Joe Royle interview at the time. He stated Limpar was the most gifted player he had worked with and compared him to Platini, only to drop him next game.

Please guys back to LD Please!!!!!!!

So was he on 5 Live today?

Yes, thanks to Arteta's Girl for this link:

Minutes 11-20.

Questions:
-It's cold. [what is it with the weather questions?]
-What's the difference between the Galaxy/Everton? [standard answer about EPL's pace]
-Who works him harder: Galaxy or Everton? [weather in LA more difficult, Everton/EPL clearly harder]
-What's it like to work with Moyes? [trust/faith in players = awesome]
-Did you look through the fixtures before you arrived? [yes, picks out Man City, Chelsea & Liverpool games]
-Would you trade MLS goal in Cup Final for hat trick in Liverpool derby? [yes, because he believes LA would win regardless and derby important]
-Who are you most excited to see? ["certainly not Neville" "admired Baines-y" "Tim Cahill's been doing this awhile"]
-Have you ever been tempted to come here full-time? [yes, when he signed with LA in 2009 he thought he'll be free before the 2014 World Cup and would consider doing something before the World Cup, Everton is the natural fit, however, he is older]
-Are you looking forward to playing Henry and more MLS players are coming over? [likes that teams have respect for American players]
-How do you get by with the Scouse accent? [he understands German more than scousers sometimes]
-Will you get married while you're here? [not planning on it, but you never know]

:D
