Heheh. Sort of. The champion of the regular season takes home a trophy called the Supporters Shield and gets a CONCACAF Champions League spot. The highest point total from the conference that doesn't have the shield winner also gets a CCL berth.

Have no clue what @Allezfan and @Garrick are talking about, but basically all US sports have an end-of-season cup to determine league champion. Nothing else matters.
