If he was a free agent we could pick him up whenever, but he can only be added to the Squad on January 1st.

There's only a separate deadline for loans if you're a Championship club or lower. In the Premiership loan deals must be agreed by August 31st.

Free agents can sign whenever obviously.

Ironically, after last night's surprising win against the league leaders - led by LD's 2 goals and assist - the Galaxy are within 2 points of a playoff spot. It's not over yet.

I watch MLS regularly, LA have been pretty damn woeful. Although LD is a class above of that league, his class wasn't the reason for an absolute gift of a win for LA.

his first goal was a pass back from the defender which he intercepted - good closing down but at the end of the day it was a gift.... Second goal was similar, third goal keeper came flying out of his gola only for LD to take a tocuh and have another empty net.

Amazing result considering RSL are pretty much the best team, on season so far.

Yeah, but those gifts were awarded because of the high pressure that LA put on the back four. They're used to passing the ball around at their leisure, and LA didn't allow it. And as far as his class not being the reason for the win: just picture Chad Barrett playing in Landon's spot. Gifts or not, LA doesn't win in that scenario.
