Sir Landon Of Donovan

Landon won't force anything this MLS season because Galaxy have a very aggressive agenda. They're pressed tight against the salary cap, though, we have here in MLS. At the end of this season, one of their "Designated Players" must go. It's not Beckham, likely Keane before LD. But the door is open the end of this MLS season for EFC to come get Landon. Will Kenright etal make the move is the question. EFC ownership is the stumbling block (as usual).

Whatever, David it is. Is that your picture Phenom? I showed it to the 1970s and they want their clothes back.

I'll have you know sir that those garments are some of the finest robes Infinities has to offer! How very dare you!! FFS!!!

Angles - All they have to do is sweeten a deal by adding a few of our youngsters on loan to play at Galaxy during the EPL off-season. MLS is a minor league, no question. But Duffy, Barkley, and a couple others would be well-served playing regularly, under pressure, instead of sitting home doing nothing. The deal is there to be done and after this MLS season (Galaxy has loaded up this year in anticipation of moving players end of season), LD or Keane will come available.

Skids - How did you let yourself get dragged into a CD vs LD argument? They're both good at what they do and both are good for our National Team. You know that as well as I. Let this debate die a natural death.

SJtotalfootball - "As a supporter of the San Jose Earthquakes, I would ask that you please review Landon's departure from the other California club he once starred for...".

Know your history. LD was only available to Galaxy due to SJE's executive red-headed mediocrity Lalas trading his rights away. Blame Lalas, not Landon. Notice Galaxy had to dump Lalas as part of signing Arena. For good reason. Amazing this dim-bulb has to be watched on ESPN as an "expert".

SoCalMike - Where you been? LD has stayed with Galaxy primarily for the reasons you've given. Galaxy is ambitious and Landon's key to fulfilling that ambition. Since they're all-in salary cap-wise this season, Galaxy will have to let one of their DPs go the end of the season. It's not Beckham. Which leaves Keane or LD. I'm guessing Keane, but LD could force a trade.

So.... Landon came back earlier this year to be involved in the CONCACAF CL......

LA is down 2-0 to Toronto in the first 20 min ffs!

Edit: LD just scored in 89' leveling at 2-2. Two away goals.....Great turnaround for LAGalaxy.

The Galaxy are ambitious?

Yeah, I guess they could be considered "ambitious."

If you mean by having the DP rule changed for them on a regular basis so they can fulfill those "ambitions."

Laughing here.

When he talks, I just think about how he used to look like sideshow Bob.

He said he signed his ST.

And he cant wait till he gets another text saying, ITS ON, meaning his source telling himm that DonnyFod is coming back.

He then goes on to wish a speedy return for LandonFod.

Brilliantly deciphered, I must say I have no trouble reading his posts..?

Everyone here needs to root heavily for the galaxy to win concacaf champions league. It's a big big deal to mls and the galaxy to get this done. I don't think a mls or American club has ever won the cl. Winning the cl will help Landon leave from the prospective of his conscience and public relations

Oh TX Bill. Your Dynamo colors shine through.

Get over it.

The conspiracy theories are just retarded at this point. LA plays by the same rules everyone else does. We're just managed better.

And EFC NY - yes, no MLS/American club has ever won it. So it would be a giant deal, and is priority #1 in LA right now. Think Seattle has a decent shot as well.

(Sorry mods, know this doesn't belong here, and I know TX Bill you're one of the mods, but I couldn't resist.)

Of course, if LA make it to Japan do you think they'll go without one of their most influential players? He probably wouldn't be available for a January loan if that was the case.
