With that indepth soccer chat, you're bound to be a big hit on here.

Welcome mate. Do they like pineapple on pizza in montana?

Hi all! Thanks for the nice welcome. We prefer bison on our pizza here in Montana! Lived in southern California for quite a while so Montana is a big change. We do have satellite tv so I can follow my new, favorite EPL team Everton.:)

Mates, this was a tough game to crack, Liverpool clogged it once Everton were down. Difference for me is Liverpool were pumped and Everton were not as pumped to play. Too many Everton players not doing their part and I will include Landon here for various reasons, even though he did not have a terrible game, but it was not great either.

Before I start ranting on my first post here I must say Kuyt is a beast.

Anyway, Landon Donovan needs to do more and I will specify the areas where he has been weak so far for Everton.

I agree with Felix, Landon can be a difference maker and while it is easy for me, in the comfort of my dining room, to critique him, I must confess to knowing Landon at a personal level and I know what he is capable of doing. He didn't do enough today.

1) He has been pulling away from challenges.

Landon isn't thinking about the World Cup. He knows that:
1. He is very unlikely to win many balls in the air he would rather be in position in case the ball were to fall in a favorable position.

2. He is probably keenly aware of the injuries that have recently plagued the team and knows he wouldn't do anyone much good while on-loan if he were to get injured.

2) Landon is not making runs with the ball enough. He is getting passes but he is looking for one touch passes to other players far too much for my liking. He is not turning with the ball and making runs and Everton BADLY need him to do just that. I became increasingly frustrated watching him constantly back pass or simply pass off the second he would get the ball. No I am not ignoring the 2 or 3 runs he had towards the goal, one of which he burned a Liverpool defender and put a cross in dangerous territory where Liverpool had to scramble to defend. Unfortunately Everton need him to do that at least 5-10 times a game and he is not doing that. 3 attacking runs with the ball is not enough and we American fans know he is more than capable of having a better game. (To be fair he is STILL getting used to playing in the Prem, with Everton, and the atmosphere) <which is why he is not playing badly, just not great.

Again, I agree with Felix on these points.

Not very impartial was he? Bring back Kenneth Wolstenholm he was class in how he portrayed players and teams.

wasn't there an incident which led to him being despised by Evertonians ?

BISON ON PIZZA?

That's bound to split the board.

Everyone, thoughts?

why not ? it aint fruit and probably makes great ground chilli beef.

would it be like desperate dans cow pie though with as you say "a set of horns" ?
