USA 1 - 1 Argentina... solid outcome. We certainly are the lesser skilled side but we got it done (again) somehow. Donovan played a fantastic freekick for the equalizer. can't help but think of the papers in England last summer... what was it again? E-A-S-Y (England-Algerial-Slovenia-Yanks)?

That's correct. I have ZERO problem with players missing games for international duty. For me and most USMNT fans, country first, then club, but that's because for most of our players, playing for the USMNT is a step up.

The atmosphere at that game last night seemed amazing. Sellout at near 80K. I am kicking myself for not going as I only live 20 miles away. LD had long stretches where he was invisible, but at times he was ace in his passing and service. Argentina looked real tough, and Messi looked as dominant as I've seen him in an Argentina shirt.

I don't think anyone has particularly relished playing them for a couple of decades.
