Could have done with him sticking around, his knowledge of picking splinters out of his arse would have been useful to Barkley.

All the lads have said goodbye to him, I think he knows he won't be coming back.

If we got Martinez in, I'd like to think he'd go after that Joel Robles, he looks like he'll be a good keeper.

thought he's looked terrible every game. i like mccarthy from reading. forster would be decent as well, vorm, mignolet, could go on. Anyway, don't think we should be replacing mucha, howard should be his replacement. We're not going to qualify in the top 4 with a keeper who doesn't control the box whatsoever or spreads no confidence to the defence. You can get away with it at united and just about at arsenal because they score so many goals, we don't have that luxury

Hopefully wherever he will go now he will find manager who actually encourages real competition between players, unlike Moyes with backing Howard no matter what (which was a shame). Unless of course Mucha will go somewhere where he will be expected to be clear no. 1 :).

I'm actually really happy he played in that City game, now we'll all have positive memories of the lad. Happy for him.

Never saw enough of Jan to judge him. Goalkeepers need long runs in the team to settle and be truly assessed, in my opinion.

But he was immense against City and generally good this season when he had to deputise. He seemed a good lad too, so good luck Jan.
