Player Valuation: £120m
Love him or loathe him there is no denying his achievements in football. This weekend sees him celebrate 25yrs at Manure. Will we ever see anybody even come close to what he's achieved? I doubt it. Surely he must go down as the greatest football manager ever. Congratulations on 25yrs Sir Alex. You have my respect and admiration. I salute you.

Unreal isn't it, the trophy haul he has gained whilst being there. I've always heard the tale he was close to the sack in the first season or so, not sure on how true that is, but they obviously made the correct choice not doing so

Always liked him to be fair, he doesn't get too much wrong (a few dodgy signings perhaps). He backs his players, he's second to none on nurturing youngsters, he'll kick players ass if he needs to. Sure he's had the money to build the empire he has, but he's made some unbelievable teams in his time

I always like the phrase I'm fairly confident he used once "Man Utd don't lose, they just run out of time"

Went to an away there not long into his tenure.

Half of the stadium were calling for his head and the reinstatement of a certain Mr T Docherty.(possibly Giggs Debut ?)

Of course none of them will ever admit to singing it, although there are probably 563,249 people that claim to have always been there during those dark days of only getting 48,000 inside o.t.

25 years and still never changed his spiggy or smiled the sour 2@.

I'm sure it was a televised cup game with Forest that was pretty much billed as lose the game and Sir Alex lost his job. They won (or drew?) with Mark Robbins scoring.

Deffo their Kevin Brock moment.
