If we fail to spend big in the summer then nobody, absolutely nobody should be defending our board afterwards.

I would have been slightly annoyed if we didn't add and Heitinga stayed.. but to sell him and not bring anyone else in?! Our bench is going to be pathetic.
 
Why would we need to improve when we are already playing the best football in the league and have the best side since the 80's?

I'm as disappointed as the next Blue, but surely I can't be the only one who doesn't see Martinez as a puppet. If he wanted someone but was given the financial backing to go for him, he's certainly masking it well.

Perhaps he genuinely doesn't feel that the right players are available at the right (this) time, and the right price.

Bizarre. Best chance for beards to get top 4 and we have no interest in pushing for it.
