Well, seems we're hellbent on getting a massive target man type kind of striker in. Traore and Jones are both kind of jarg cheesy route 1 strikers, but if they're willing to put a good shift in for Everton i don't see why not.

Traore is a lot more than just a target man: he has pace and can finish. Exactly what we need.

Benteke is class and is still young and learning in the prem and he will come good again.

He's now got 2 in his last 2 games after a barron run and he might go on the goal trail now. I wouldn't write Benteke off just yet. I'd love him at us if we could ever afford him.

I agree. Benteke will become a very good player so long as he keeps working hard and improving his game. Inconsistency and loss of form are common in young players, especially strikers. Remember King Suarez was pretty inconsistent when he first came to the PL, and took time to become the finisher he is today.

This lad is more than just a big target man. He's got a good touch, a turn of pace and isn't afraid to run with ball. He's a decent player and will do a job for us till end of season, IF we sign him?!

Exactly. First season when your an unknown quantity you do flourish sometimes and then second season it seems tougher as defenders seem to know how to deal with you but he'll learn from this season and be better for it.

I watched parts of the game tonight and he won every header, held up the ball well at times and worked hard but we all know he's got a goal in him and he'll be a class player in time definitely!

To sum bent eke up he is a fantastic striker. His form last year was a true reflection of his ability considering he done that in a poor team. Make no mistake villa would have gone down without him.

His problem this season is very simple, he had an agent telling him he could play for anyone in Europe and that is where the transfer request came from. The lad strikes me as quiet and humble bit if his agent tells him he is the best in the world he is.bound to believe it. If he came here we could well be .
