I just read through the 11 pages of this new thread, lets look at the facts. In Roberto's interview this week he said we are very close to completing a deal for our first signing this window. Personally with Jela on his way its obvious that there is a replacement on his way because Roberto wouldn't let Jela go unless it was guaranteed that a replacement was coming in. So its going to be the signing of a striker who it will be? It could be anyone either way you could guess all day based on the brief history of Roberto's signings it could be a loan for a Lukaku level player or it could be the signing of a Kone level player. Just wait and see and lets get three points sorted today without dreaming of the boy coming home....

I'm a big believer that Rooney could well be back in the summer, but there's not a chance in hell he will be back this jan window!!

Imagine if a takeover was imminent we wouldn't be signing McGeady on a free!

It will be a week where we perhaps bring a couple in and maybe renew a big players contract.
