Silly Season January 2014

i'm just going to wait until the end of this window and the next before forming any strong opinions. Every ones getting pessimistic about the lack of activity right now but no one else near the top of the table (Chelsea,City,Arsenal, RS) has signed anyone either yet. Most business happens near the end of the window. Everyone just needs to relax and enjoy our upcoming football. so much negativity in this thread.

Mentioned this player before - Adrián Ramos from Hertha Berlin. Recently quoted as saying he would love a move to the Prem and is joint top scorer in the Bundesliga this term. Watched him on the highlights show on ITV every week and he is quality! Not the strongest but is very quick and is a good poacher. Also a brilliant header of the ball. Hertha aren't the richest, but are flying high atm and would probably be looking to keep their top player, but if we could offer £7 million (so what, 10 mil euros?) then i'm sure that, if the player wanted to come, then they would most likely accept. 28 later this month but very much at his peak right now. We've not been linked or anything but since this is the silly season thread then i thought i'd give it a shout-out and the obligatory Youtube vid.
