Thomas Ince isn't free in the summer. He's U23 and therefore Blackpool can take it to a tribunal which means they get a good fee still

Isn't it based on whether that club brought him through their youth system, like someone mentioned earlier?

I don't mind him as a player. Seen him score some good goals. But the fact everyone says he's an insufferable bellend makes me not want him

I heard Martinez on the radio saying that he will only sign a player if they won't upset the morale of the squad.

And to be fair I think most of us are just going on what we're told about Ince. Nobody really knows but by all accounts he's a big time Charlie who thinks he's better than he actually is.

The Club have to offer the player a new contract IN WRITING with a higher weekly wage than his current contract.

I don't know mate, someone like Sheeds would know. My 'understanding' is the legislation was to protect and compensate the academy that they came through and helped them develop, up until they were 23.
