Best player on the pitch too in the full international when he came on as sub against Spain.

Needs a proper role and some confidence is all.

Rodwell is a mystery for me, it's not clear what is wrong with him. Just a few thoughts on the matter.

1. poor coaching. rodwell was expected to play all across the midfield and never developed in one place. At one point moyes played him right midfield so is it any wonder the lad did not progress at all?

2. Injuries. if you believe moyes and co caused u necessary injuries in the squad then there is room for blame there.

3. instruction. Again pure speculation but is it jacks fault if he was told by moyes to play the way he did. not take chances and just distribute sideways all the time?

Personally I think the saddest part will be watching jack in a couple of years in a crap team knowing full well with a different manager he could have been a star for us.

Paco Alcacer, was very highly rated coming through there ranks 2 years ago, was on Arsenal's radar but fell by the way side a bit and didnt live up to the hype, spent a season out on loan at Getafe if im not mistaken?!.
