Silly Injuries

Down to just sheer bad luck. I just hope they can all come back as good as ever, as there is always that doubt when injuries like this are concerned.

Just when you think it's safe to go back into the water !! I can't believe how unlucky we've been and to compound the situation this !! I feel so sorry for Jags' - the 1-2 defeat just seems to pale into insignificance.

With it being a nasty cruciate injury,

a) Will the Jags' be fit for the start of next season
b) Will he be as good as he was

I think you (anyone) have to think, we can only wait and see. Consequently, is Jack Rodwell good enough to fill Jagielka's boots. The only way to find out if this is even an option, David Moyes will have to play him there.
Now, stating the obvious, David Moyes does like Joseph Yobo at centre-half. I have to be honest, I don't -- and I really don't know what Moyes sees that I can't.

In conclusion, I don't know if Jack Rodwell can look the part at centre-half. Secondly, I don't rate Jo Yobo. Thirdly, because of these uncertainties does David Moyes need/have to buy a centre-half this summer. I think yes -- and David, if you're reading this -- I'd buy Ryan Shawcross of Stoke City.

Get well soon Jags' -- I'm gutterd for yer', kidda'.

Actually vaughan jumps into tackles like a maniac, he has a lot of passion and will to win tackles but he just flies in without regard to himself, hence this last long injury lay off and the one before it. He needs to learn self control when going into tackling. if jumps in like a mad man he is going to come off the worse for it. as for other players...wasnt anichebe exactly the same as him when he first made an appearances of us? he would just lunge into tackles and get an injury?

I think the term your looking for mate is a "Headless Chicken", which he has mastered. Did it again today, trying to make himself look busy but actually just charging round not doing anything usefull

Obviously the more football you play the more chane you have of picking up injuries. We've played a lot of games this year between the leauge and cups, not to mention international games. A lot of it is dumb luck is as well.

You do look at some clubs and say they must be soing something wrong, Newcastle for example always seem to have about ten players out every season.

Just very unlucky. I hope he comes back and can still perform to the same high level. Is it the case with knee ligament injuries that they can't get back to the same level they once were after repair?

Didn't Rio Ferdinand injure himself playing playstation one season - sat so long with his legs up on table he pulled a muscle when he eventually stood up?

Didn't VDM put his leg through a table?

Injuries are blatantly to do with tables - the statistics speak for themselves!!
