Not a case of rating him, it's how mush over the odds we'd have to fork out to get him.

I ain't paying it though so spend it, nice problem to have. We could probably throw £50m at Chelsea for Fabregas for that's

£50m for a decent player, not a top one is absolutely ridiculous and if it was any other club, people on here would be pissing themselves laughing.

I'll support him if he comes but I hope we don't sign him. I would rather throw that amount at better players.

For the price it's a no.

He would bring something different to the team but even at 40 million he's not worth it and i've always liked him even back to his Reading days when they were chasing promotion.

The issue with him is he's 50 million for a player whose biggest strength is set pieces (albeit very good set pieces), he creates less per game from open play than Barkley and even Kev and if he's pushed out on the left it takes away from his strengths even further.

Ridiculous fee for an OK player. There must be better deals out there and midfield is not where our priorities should be at the moment.
