I hope that this snag that the vogel deal has hit isn't enough to dissuade him from joining the toffees. He's definitely a Carsley replacement and someone who can add some real bite into our midfield.

Think both Vogel and Pienaar would give us some needed improvements and options on the midfield. If we get those two and one or two more I think we can get a good cup-run depending on the draws and a good league position.

I think this Vogel deal may break down, if Betis want a transfer fee for him now then that rules us out, I cant see Moyes paying for a 30 year old. Lets just hope the Pienaar deal works out because we despereately need some creativity and a left sided player.
