When I was a lad transfers between our two great clubs had to involve a third party, David Johnson had to go via Ipswich and McMahon went via Villa, that was in the good old days when they were better but poorer. Not sure how Johnny Morrisey happened and have vague recollections of Sheedy as was at Uni at the time and life was a little pshycedelic.
