Fun fact - you shouldn't store milk in the door. It will last longer if you store it toward the back of a lower shelf.

It makes weekly meal suggestions based upon what I have in the fridge, and adds what extra I need to a shopping list on Amazon.

I have only ever used that feature once. It wasn't for chunky guacamole.

If I'm out shopping though, I can check my fridge on my phone to check whether I have something in or not. I have done that.

It sounds to me like it’s the fridge’s house and it is just tolerating you like a pet.

Although this fridge does not have a double door fridge compartment it is basically the Jacob Rees Moog of fridges. You may as well give it a monocle and a Victorian hat and freeze poor people in it to bring out and show all your friends when you have a weekly social function
