And we must to sign a new and potential keeper in summer e.g. Begovic, K. Schmeichel or others.

For me this is the area we need to strengthen most, not just currently but in the long-term as well. I'm not getting away from how bad our defence has been but 48% of shots on our goal have ended up in goals - that says it all.

I'd love Begovic - I'd imagine he is everyone's first choice - 27 years old, experienced in the Prem and top class - however, the money will be an issue, as well other clubs (including Liverpool) chasing his signature.

David Marshall is the more realistic choice - a top top class keeper, who is wasted in the Championship and still only 29 years old. He will be a whole lot cheaper (probably under 5M) but the task will be prizing him away from Cardiff who he captains and has been loyal to for a while.

Cech would be great, but let's be realistic, it's never going to happen.

Id love begovic but as bluegirl said if he was availible im sure liverpool or someone else would come in for him but he would be my first choice.

My next choice would be karius at mainz, 21 speaks english after being in citys youth team, young and out of contract in 6 months. When iv seen him he is like a mini neaur.

Fairly sure a stumbling, disoriented Cech would be at least 3 or 4 times more effective than Tim Howard.

The person who created this thread put him in the poll so the author viewed Him as a possibility. Not only that but some rumours do pan out. You ought to read my post again and the other person who quoted it, where did | say I believe the rumour, get your facts rigbt and stop misrepresenting comments.
