NO!

Only Stoke have conceded more in the league. Another manager who has no idea how to defend, imagine his tactics with our defense. I'd cry after 2 weeks..
Exactly
Can you imagine the blank stares when he says to Pickford
Jordan I want you to roll the ball out to CUCu and I want CuCu to control it first time with his left foot and play it inside to Wayne

No. He's shown himself to be unprofessional and let speculation impact performances on the pitch.

"The chronology makes this case compelling. Watford were sixth and had only lost to Manchester City and Chelsea when Ronald Koeman was sacked by Everton on October 23. Noises from the dressing room reaffirm this theory; several players privately concede that they sensed Silva’s lack of commitment and lost focus. Some admit to asking Silva whether he would take them to Everton with him, shattering the team spirit and unity which, along with the more attacking style of football introduced by the Portuguese, had underpinned their outstanding start to the season."

All of that after only 9 games. The man is a mercenary.
I voted yes but changed my vote after reading this.

What benefit would it be to the club to bring in a manager who would be prepared to leave us after just 10 games?

The next appointment needs to be made with an eye for the long term. Silva isn't that

He's shown that he can easily have his head turned, to the detriment of the club that hired him

What's the point of bringing him in only to have him want to leave mid season when another club offers him a big pay out?

He's shown himself to be a mercenary and untrustworthy

NO!
That's a no then?

Sean Dyche

Like Silva, he has a relegation to his name

Unlike Silva, he stuck with that club, got them promoted again and then secured them in the top flight

We pay one of the best managerial wages in world football. I don't think we'd get a similar situation. I'm disappointed we haven't moved for him. Anyone who thinks Sam would win us more points between now and May clearly has no grasp of football.

There'd always be another club prepared to pay him more, and we couldn't trust him not to take it

At least with Dyche we could have confidence that he wouldn't bolt after less than a third of the season

And why on Earth would we change managers AGAIN during this season? What benefit would there be to having 4 managers in one season

Let's get to the end of this one, turf Samuel and then make a long term appointment. Silva is not a long term appointment because he can't be trusted to see the process through

Wait, you think Silva who has just been sacked by Watford (who are below us) for not winning enough points would get more points than Allardyce for the rest of the season?

Based on what exactly?
