Should we consider getting Torres

I think his form had a lot to do with service. At Liverpool, he had Alonso behind, setting him up quite a lot.

Once at Chelsea, that service was gone and so were the goals.

I've heard a few people suggest it and having thought about it I'd say no. The ex-LFC part wouldn't really bother me but he's 30 this year so is his top form likely to return? No, but we'd still pay top-striker cash for him.

I see why it's suggested but I'd leave it.

Can see him being part of any potential Diego Costa deal. Torres going 'home' in a way.
This. Chelsea must be made up to have him as a bargaining chip. Torres plus 20m or something like that. Let's just hope they get another top striker in too leaving Lukaku feeling like he has no option but to leave for good.

He has been crap for years now. Naismith is better.
You know what? You're right. I think most people here would rather have the Scottish Messi Steven Naismith than a Fernando Torres Liverpool's Number Nine.

I trust your judgement mate. You are who you are for a reason. Would never want him...but, his form drop happened at the same time as that G fella was hurt if I remember right

Think his heart has never been into the job at a soulless club like Chelsea. At Liverpool, he was a passionate, explosive player.

But in relation to the question, no, I think his time has come and gone. I think he wants one last payday somewhere and there's little to no chance of him doing a job at the top level anymore.

Anyone who genuinely thinks he's rubbish needs their heads checking though. He was/is one of the best instinctive strikers in world football - he just made a Francis Jeffers style mistake in joining Chelski.

Benitez ruined him, by continually sending him out half fit.

He was a shadow of the player he was in his prime for about 12 months before he left Liverpool. He'd lost that electric burst of pace.

He's also a Billy Big Bollocks and sulks as much as any player I've ever seen, his head goes down at the slightest thing and then he just disappears from the game.

I wouldn't touch him with a shitty stick

Should we consider getting Torres from Chelsea.

Last season he showed under the right manager he could be very good (23 goals last season).

I think RM could bring the best out of him.
No mate.
