This. Chelsea must be made up to have him as a bargaining chip. Torres plus 20m or something like that. Let's just hope they get another top striker in too leaving Lukaku feeling like he has no option but to leave for good. Can see him being part of any potential Diego Costa deal. Torres going 'home' in a way.
You know what? You're right. He has been crap for years now. Naismith is better.
I think most people here would rather have the Scottish Messi Steven Naismith than a Fernando Torres Liverpool's Number Nine.I think his form had a lot to do with service. At Liverpool, he had Alonso behind, setting him up quite a lot.
Once at Chelsea, that service was gone and so were the goals.
I've heard a few people suggest it and having thought about it I'd say no. The ex-LFC part wouldn't really bother me but he's 30 this year so is his top form likely to return? No, but we'd still pay top-striker cash for him.
I see why it's suggested but I'd leave it.
Yes that also.I trust your judgement mate. You are who you are for a reason. Would never want him...but, his form drop happened at the same time as that G fella was hurt if I remember right
And price.Wages
No mate.Should we consider getting Torres from Chelsea.
Last season he showed under the right manager he could be very good (23 goals last season).
I think RM could bring the best out of him.
