The irony was the club started pushing the motto once he took over but he ended up turning us into a hasbeen club.

Would changing NSONO into the English equivalent help?

I don't think we need to be too hasty. Let's not be thinking we need to overhaul everything about our motto. Let's just shorten it. I suggest: "Nil".
