Let's not forger that we're Everton and we're different from other clubs, which has it's positive and is something I'm proud of - to an extent.

Yet, I keep asking myself: would Man United do it? How about Chelsea, City or Spurs? God, would even that shower from across the Park?

Now I am not saying I want to be one of those clubs; simply, I want us to appoint people (players or coaches) because of their own merits.

Quite simply we need to ask ourselves are they the best we can get? If they're a Blue then great, but that should only be an added bonus.

United made Giggs manager

Liverpool have always bigged up their famed "boot room"

All the major clubs do it, Everton aren't unique in it

People are just looking for a scapegoat, and others just have an agenda against Dunc

Niasse and cenk with healthy goals per min ratios this season in a team that creates Jack shiz and Calvert-Lewin has scored a lot more than I thought he would. Must be doing something right. Would include lukaku but his figures were amazing even before he came here so probably not a good example.

I'm not sure what would be the point? You don't seriously think he's got any power or any say in what goes on do you? You dont seriously think he's a "coach" in any legitimate sense?! Big Dunc is a glorified cheerleader FFS! You want us to sack everyone at the club? How about Pienaar since he hold any equally irrelevant position with an impressive sounding title at the club? Hell why stop with them? Why should he tea ladys escape the purge eh?!

Giggs was a temporary (caretaker) manager who fulfilled the role for four matches before LVG came in, which is similar to the Unsworth situation.

With the appointment of José after van Gaal's, he was quickly shown the door. He's a Manure legend but there was no sentiment in their decision!

To my knowledge, Liverpool do not have any ex-players in the first team coaching roles; Gerrard is involved with the U18s, but not a senior squad.

Perhaps in the past, other clubs have kept ex-players close to the XI in a coaching/mentioning role, however I'd argue much less so now.

I'm not saying people do not have other agendas or that people may be looking for a scapegoat, however in the bigger-picture I do feel we're soft.

Thanks heavens you have no say in Club matters then.
I would be very surprised if the Mosh-man and other influential figures at EFC did not read this forum (indeed, are probably members). It is not at all overly far-fetched to presume that Mr Moshiri takes very seriously the insightful contributions posted herein GOT, and indeed, implements the best of the suggestions (like most of mine). Therefore, you might conclude that all of us on here, including you Tony, have a very significant say in club matters.

Wish the F, they stayed out of the transfer thread last summer.

Allardyce is his ticket to another season on the bench looking important. I'm not surprised he's upset that SA is getting chants levelled at him telling him to get out of the club.

Will probably be kept on regardless in a 'bridge, because he knows the club' role as he has with the last few managers.

Almost like he is the common denominator in these managerial changes.

he should be allowed to just storm on the pitch an headbutt every
single player who didn't put passion/hard work in their performance
after the game they'd soon put effort in.

Who’s taking the rap for Sam?
I’m no stool pigeon but I suspect one of the many reincarnations of @butters may have played nefarious hand in his appointment. For what it’s worth I have come around to being a devoted member of ‘team Vitor’ and fully expect that handsome Portu-geezer to be our next magnificent manager.
