What has it got to do with ambition? He openly admit not having the desire to manage and prefer a supporting role. I’m fine with that as we’ve seen today our disastrous season is because of Silva, not because big Dunc is a coach.
If you want to quote him ,yes he did say that but he added that he would love to manage Everton one day .You didn't mention Silva by the way .

The club needs to be smart and use the "feel good factor" to get us through the two games before an ideal home tie to Arsenal for the new manager to come in.

As I said earlier ideally Dunc should get Utd & Leicester games with a new manager through the door for his first game at home under a rocking Goodison against a weak Arsenal.

Keeping it tight should see us get a point atleast at OT then have the fans bouncing again under the lights at GP to get us past Leicester and into the League Cup Semi Finals.

No. New manager needs to assess the squad in order to be able to work with brands about potential signings.

If we appoint in the summer it would be another wasted transfer window and mucked up preseason.

Give him this run of games everyone was crapping themselves about, even talk of not wanting to appoint some of these high paid no mark managers in case they get off to a bad start.

Dunc gets thrown in , a different team display altogether and the first one is in the bag.

Full house, incredible scenes, gutsy performance and 3 points.

Yeah sack him, bring on Pereira from Shangai, it's obvious he'll do better.

Give the lad until January at the very least FFS then judge him.

I’ve clicked no.

But if he gets 4 points from the next two games then he very well may earn himself the right to go to the end of the season.

But that’s it.

Wouldn't be worst idea from what we saw today. But I don't want to do what United have done and have to sack him next year.
Every bit of the above!
The world and its wife shouted from the rooftops that appointing Solskjaer the way they did was asking for bother.
Duncan will always have a payday with us, but not necessarily as manager.
