Can you explain this? Which country has loads of oil it's giving away? Who is it giving it to? And why?

We have plenty in north sea which 80 % is sold on by private companies abroad alot of sites in North sea are run by foreign companies which I don't know the reason

Aaah - you mean our natural resources have been put in the hands of wealthy corporations by our politicians and it now seems that was short sighted and bad for consumers. See also - water. Amazing the difference in our approach to offshore oil and gas compared to that of the Norwegians.

A small number of people will have made vast sums of money off selling our resources.
