Perhaps a mickey mouse theory then ! I have just watched Ancient Aliens and it seems that Octopusses will take over from us and that we are wrong in thinking we are the most advanced species on earth ,they is almost certainly more advanced civilisations in the parts of the oeans we haven't been able to investigate yet , strange that the is the case just as ghosts are always out in the wilder parts ,dark mysterious places and not in the middle of a city where there are actually more people dying . I do still believe we are decendants or mutants of other beings not from this planet .
I've asked before and I'll ask again.... Why has nobody ever seen a Chinese ghost?

Ancient Aliens is currently my favourite trash TV to watch when I do watch TV, History is truly in the gutter for it. So many bizarre things where "COULD IT BE THAT <insert something very obvious here> WAS ALIENS ALL ALONG?!?!?!" is easily answered with "no, mate"; such a display of mental gymnastics just to reach a nonsensical point. Love it.

They actually are - I just watched a youtube video about a woman that disappeared for several weeks after being lured into the wilderness by ghosts. And the local villages talked about the spirits they saw moving around in the moutain above them - lights moving around on paths.
So yes - they have ghosts as much as we do.
I work in an anthropology department and this show, in particular, drives my archaeologist colleague's crazy. The show is just pure trash (and not-so-subtely racist) in that any time a set of brown people live in a given area and have built something spectacular (Egyptian pyramids, Mayan Pyramids, Nasca lines, etc.), some white celebrity with a PhD from YouTube University states confidently that no human could have made such a structure, it must be really smart aliens instead.
Yup, it's pure unfiltered trash. No idea how it even gets aired at times, and as I said some of the things are mind boggling. It was a trip when they showed an actual show about ways the pyramids could've been built earlier during the day though, quite interesting, with an actual expert who's been there many times and it's not pure speculation but rather scientific method and looking at all the possibilities and why they will/won't/might work, ending that it was probably a mix of all (no surprise) as they've used said methods in other structures. Also added fascination about the tunnels and all that.
Then came Ancient aliens and the guy who said it's aliens and we will never know and they're a conduit to a different planet that will work at some point and giants built it because those primitives could've never done anything as intricate as *checks notes* move rocks. Then they moved on to "there's a secret alien antenna in the sphinx’s right paw and the government doesn't want us to know about it that's why they kicked us out" (not because they brought tools and wanted to meander with an actual relic and drill it for "proof"). So the sphinx is hollow, that was the consensus.
The Nazi stuff is also just a shocking experience. Even "Youtube degrees" can't be mentioned as most of those people were panned on youtube as well and had to remove their bogus channels - I know some of them from a famous debunker or two and they do interviews with the frauds and present them as experts FFS! Just frauds overall.
