Sheedy for me,just. Classy, but worked hard, despite the lack of pace. Most of all, though, the free kicks
Plus we got him from the shites reserves

Very, very close but Sheedy for me too.

A wand of a left foot and that piss take against Ipswich in 85...wow!!

What a balanced midfield that was though...one of the greatest club sides ever assembled.

Watching those videos of Sheeds - forgot how brilliant he was also at volleying the ball into the net from all angles. Greatest memories were the two semis at Villa Park. Two free kicks against Luton - the first one i think with a minute or so to go to keep us in the cup and the second one on a plate for Mountfield in extra time? And the next year one against Norwich. Anyone got clips of them?

Tricky Trev was a great player to watch though. his understanding with gary stevens is a bit like what we have with baines and pienaar at their best.

Sheeds was my boyhood hero and a fabulous bloke to know in later life.

Yes, as you say I made a mistake, but as I said all you've got is being a self elected memb er of the typo police... so yeah then if that's what you crave, I bow to your perfectness, obviously I am really not worthy, happy now?
I'm done here
you're a bit of a small time wind up merchant and I'm not playing any more so on to ignore for you sunshine

Man, this is so out of order. I went out with my mates today and told them that Degsy off the internet disagreed with me, I was ridiculed and humiliated so i will be committing suicide after I finish typing. I hope you're proud of yourself.

in future when you try to belittle someone don't make such a basic error what a difference an 's' makes eh. But i'm on ignore so you won't see this will you Trev erm Gary erm wingman. xx

If you had to compare Sheedy to someone in the modern game would it be somebody like Beckham? *puts tin hat on* Seemingly very similar attributes, both can play out wide or through the middle, no pace, great delivery?
