No David. The right thing to do was what was right for the CLUB... EVERTON Football Club.
 
Think this is one of those things you keep in your head rather than say it aloud; we as a football club and Moyes don't need this kind of thing

Agree but we don't need to be constantly dwelling on the past regime and talking about Moyes; Roberto Martinez is our boss and not Moyes and we should let the positivity and optimism flowing rather than talking about a manager that has gone down our estimations due to what he said and his actions at times, not for the job he did which none of us can deny was excellent.
 
We consistently finished in the top third of the table. How many of the players who never got a chance under Moyes deserve to be playing at that standard?

Yes, we have to do the best for our youth players, but for many, that will just be us preparing them for a career in the lower leagues. We're not friggin' social services; we're a consistent top 7 side in one of the toughest and best leagues in the world. If they're not ready or good enough then they don't get on the pitch. Put in another way; who would you have rather had in midfield this season Barry or Lundstram?

Agreed moyes did a decent job, he made a few ridiculous comments and now he's no longer our problem

Kissock - drifted around lower league teams
Bjarne - everyone knew he could pass. That was it.
Plessis - at 26 has yet to manage 50 league starts in his career.
Duffy - Martinez loaned him out
Victor - Martinez sold
McAleny - Martinbez loaned him out
Gueye - Martinez doesn't even give bench time.

I'm not saying Moyes didn't make mistakes on that but you choose the most bizarre players to have a problem with their game time.

That's because I posted away from home.. here is the full list of "youth" development players and how much time Moyes gave them in the PL

Osman, Anichebe, Rooney (especially) and Rodwell - all international level players (eventually in the case of Osman), Hibbert was already in the first team squad when Moyes arrived. As far as the rest go.. it's 10 players given a grand total of 20 starts. Not exactly an endorsement of Moyes believing in youth - Rooney got 40 starts from 76 league games - again for a player so clearly at the top of his game for a 16-18 year old maybe a little cautious. An average of 1.5 starts per game and, taking Osman and Hibbert out of the equation - 0.4 starts per game.
