West Brom 1968 Cup Final
Carlisle (A) 1974 0-3 (when we were going for the title
Burnley (A) same season (I think). Got beat (1-3?) and was mobbed by half a a dozen Dingles on the way back to the station ahead of the main Blues support. They wanted my scarf but faced them off and, thankfully, they gave me a by
FAC semi 1977 for obvious reasons
QPR (A) 1976 - we won 5-0 but I nearly got a good kicking after the game
Liverpool (H) 1981? 0-5 on a pissy wet Sunday afternoon. Had 8 pints of Guinness in the Supporters club on Goodison Rd and drove me and my mate home after the game. Not big and certainly NOT clever
Milk Cup final 1984
FAC final 1986 - my worse nightmare come true especially after the season before. Never really recovered from that hence why I despise the RS so much
Since then, I just take the rough with the smooth

Going to my first away game - Southampton ten years ago. Scoring two goals, still manage to lose 2-0. Thanks Alcaraz and Coleman.

West Ham S/F 1980 Elland RD , Latch wonder headed goal deep into extra time ,
I think it was 2 mins to go Lampard diving header hitting a divot and somehow sneaking in
Absolutely heartbreaking that one,I was coming up to fifteen and had spent my schooldays with that "lot",I was convinced that night I would never see us win anything in my lifetime, anyhow back from "Helland"road late and straight into school the next day to face a load of cackling RS,one I am sorry to say got to me,I reacted, his shirt collar ended up as red as his team's shirt,i got my one and only detention😔.........am I allowed to say it was worth it though?🤣

The final week of the 1985-1986 season.

Devastating! We were so good that year, I know the addition of Lineker upset a few, me included at first, but he was boss, and we were boss and 40 goas in like what 50 games was nuts. We battered everyone, including the S****....AND beat them at Analfield 2-0 a few weeks prior AND held a big lead in the title race...then bang, they do the double over us.

Absolutely gutted. Still am. I was at the Oxford game, the Southampton game and of course Wembley!

Newcastle 99th minute winner with 10 men

You know in war movies when a grenade goes off and you get the aftershock silence where your ears are ringing and you are about to pass out, it was like that

My life as an Evertonian began later on than most. I live in the middle of the US and didn't start supporting Everton until around 2010 when I was 25 years old. So instead of my father taking me to my first Everton match, I actually took him and my oldest daughter to their first Everton match. I drove us 300 miles to Minnesota and watched us get battered 4-0 in an exhibition game against an MLS team that had a competitive match in 4 days. We sat in the Everton supporters section and sang Spirit of the Blues at the start of the match and then it all went to hell after that. Dele missing from a yard and half. It was terrible.
That only just beats my first (and only) match at Goodison, we lost 1-2 to Fulham in April of 2023. Another abysmal match and a point in the season where it really looked like we were going down.
