someone quote me when it kicks off
No brainer. Alcaraz is awful. With the exception of McCarthy, the [Poor language removed] Martinez landed us with from Wigan is dire. Now there's another one on the way. WTF is that all about?Duffy or Alcaraz lids, as an hypothesis like?
Shane for me.

just watched the costa rica game, duffy's distribution was awful... don't think he would fit into to bobby's system
Pretty sure everybody said the same about Jags and what is Bobbys system? From what I recall the CM drops deep and takes the ball off the CB, im pretty sure Duffy can pass 5 yards and if not, its something that can be worked on.

Problem for Duffy is people will automatically compare him to Stones rather than realising he's still a very young man, who missed a long time out through injury and will progress at a different rate.
He'll have a good career - he could be a John Terry or he could be more of a Richard Dunne (in terms of how succcessful he'll ultimately be but he dopes share similar characteristics with both) but i've no doubt he'll make it as a premiership defender.
Extermely dominant in the air, he does need to improve on his distribution though
He's not good enough. That's no shame, to be the quality to play in a top team challanging for CL requires special players. He's not that, I'm sure he'll have a good career, perhaps similar in standing to Dunne. Which again is a fantastic achievement.
Anyone who gets anywhere near our first team is labeled as the next big thing and it is taken for granted they only need to be given a chance and they will be brilliant. Very few will make the step up as we'v seen.
Good luck to the lad. If I were him him I'd leave Everton and go and make a name for himself, start his career and be part of a team/club (not a loan).
