.....don't think Duffy is anywhere near a starting place in the pecking order. Makes me feel that he would be released if the right offer came in. Heitinga will move asap, leaving 4 to pick from (Jagielka; Distin; Alcaraz and Stones).

There's a lot of hype about Duffy... I really can't see it.

Its interesting that if they get fit/experience theirs an argument for Stones and Alcaraz in our new playing style, despite Distin and Jag's qualities

......Stones is clearly well thought of and I think we're all hopeful that he will be a real star. We look quite strong in the centre back department which makes me think transfer priorities will be elsewhere.

You would have thought so, especially as other areas are being covered by loan signings at the moment

I'm not saying I'm confident he'll make it with us, but he looked decent in the few perm games he's played. Duffy isn't some random who's stumbled through our youth system. He was very highly rated a few years ago and I'm pretty sure we had to beat Chelsea to his signature. He was a captain and most often the best player in our youth games and is as good a header of the ball as anyone (quite important - ask Kroldrup)

With Distin being 36 and Heitinga on a 1 way ticket outta here, Stones will surely make it with us but I hope Duffy can too.

Duffys main downfall is his ability on the ball, hes good defensivly, great in the air at both ends but ultimatly i cant see him having a future in a roberto matinez style team. Shame i always thought he'd go on to good things with us after his promising few games he had for us.

You've seen 5 minutes of the lad.

I've seen enough to have an opinion on him and I think he's going to end up playing elsewhere. Either lower half premiership or championship. Can't see him making it here unless we have a fire sale and end up doing a leeds

Good to see him getting further experience, and he made team of the day or something a couple weeks back (he posted it on his the twitter).
I think he fluffed his chance when he was picked to start in the pre season game against Austria Vienna, he was terrible in the first half and took too long to get into the game. Which is harsh considering it was pre- season but I think Bobby had seen enough.

I'm hoping he'll come through, Yeovil have doubled their points tally since his arrival , won at home for the first time and are off the bottom . Now obviously it's not all down to him , but he's been starting every game , so clearly making a mark. I'm really hoping himself and John stones might form our next centre half pairing .

If anyone's interested he's about to play for Yeovil against Doncaster on Sky Sports 1.

I'm going to put myself through it I think.

There's about 6 people in the crowd.

And one of them is Federico Macheda.
