What the actual fck. Can't be a blue that can it?
Shameful mate, but the answer is almost certainly yes I'm afraid. What the actual fck. Can't be a blue that can it?
I remember that but have it in my head as being 1987. I'm sure I saw some footage of it too a few years ago but can't be sure.
Agreed on Van den Hauwe as a player, he was ace. Important at centre back during the 86/87 title win with all the injuries.
Me too, good memory lid.Yeah, deffo that game. Had a massive smile on my face watching that. I miss those days!

Ha ha!
He really was a Hall of Fame player in his day. Absolute monster of a left-back, and stood for no messing around.
Anyone else remember the he sparked that little piece of Scottish amoeba David Speedie? The runt had just piled into one of our players - can't remember who - and got away with it as none of the officials saw it. Everyone on the ground knew Psycho would be after him, and the next thing he sparked him right in front of the Bullens with the play up at the Park End.
I remember what seemed like the entire Bullens rising in ovation together.
Chelsea at home, maybe 86? Deffo a live game in a Sunday. I hated that little snide, and Psycho went even further up in my estimation.
I could have sworn it was Nico Claesen he flattened by the Bullens, maybe he hit them both at different games.Ha ha!
