Not looking good, according to BBC. Worsening condition, and his family confirm that he has gone seriously downhill in the last 24 hours.

Hope he pulls through. One of the real sporting greats.

He played some super Golf.

Now get over and RIP the last surviving man from WW1, who just died.

Thought it would have got more of response, you know, from the military loving types on here, than a golfer.

Just saying like.
 
Never knew much about Seve being a young un but I have never heard a bad word said about him.

RIP Seve.
 
Really is sad news. He had won things before I was even born, but as a kid, one which didn't know anything about golf, I knew this man was one of the finest sports personalities going. Always looked happy in what he was doing. Great shame
 
Damn. I watched a report on Sky Sports News this morning and it had me in tears. He was more than just a great golfer, he was a sporting legend and a lion-hearted titan of a man. As far as I'm concerned, Tiger Woods isn't fit to clean his clubs. I'm devastated by this. Seve, Niklaus, Watson. Golf's modern day holy trinity and gentlemen, all.

The Big Golf Club in the Sky has just acquired one hell of a new member.
